Amway hosts Capitol Hill Reception for Grays

July 21, 2015

DC Grays players, coaches and staff got a taste of life on Capitol Hill on Tuesday night when Grays sponsor Amway hosted a reception for the team at its historic townhouse on Capitol Hill. Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) stopped by to visit with the team and receive a special autographed bat from the 2015 Grays.

“We try to make sure our players experience everything that DC has to offer,” said team president Mike Barbera. “It is a unique privilege for us to have a wonderful sponsor like Amway offer this special event for our players.”

One week ago, the Grays took a special tour of the Capitol, which was arranged by Grays board member Greg Tosi, a senior staff member in the U.S. Senate.
