Alexandria Aces
D.C. Grays
The DC Grays four game winning streak came crashing to a halt against the Alexandria Aces at Woodbridge High School on Thursday. The Grays were thoroughly routed by a score of 21-3.
Kimani Davis (Xavier) started the game for the Grays and took the loss. He went four innings, striking out four batters across his start. As it turned out, he was the most successful of several DC hurlers on the night.
The Grays managed just a single hit for the game.
Thursday was supposed to be a twin-bill, to make up for a previous rain out. The rains came in shortly after the game started, and the game was suspended to be resumed at a later date.
The Grays remain in second in the South Division standings with a 9-6 record. They look to pick things up as they play at home against Big Train with first pitch at 7:00pm.
