Grays alum Bryce Molinaro drafted by Nationals
Penn State third baseman Bryce Molinaro, who played for the DC Grays in the Cal Ripken League in 2022, was drafted this week in the 17th round (501 overall) by the Washington Nationals.
Molinaro, from Drums, PA. played for the Grays in 2022, batting .250 in limited action. He went on to play in the New Britain in Futures Collegiate Baseball League, Keene in the New England Collegiate Baseball League, and he was playing for Bourne in the cape when he was drafted.
For his Penn State career, he started 109 games and tallied 24 homers and 109 RBI while batting .296. He was a third team All-Big Ten selection in 2023.
