Home Opener honoring east of the river Little Leagues

2015 DC Grays Home Opener Tonight against Redbirds; East of the River baseball leagues to be honored

The DC Grays will host the defending Ripken League champion Baltimore Redbirds tonight at 7:00pm at the Nationals Youth Academy, but if you’ll want to get there early for pre-game festivities. Starting at 6:15 the Grays will honor local East of the River Little Leagues as well as the Urban Baseball Foundation. Players from the Mamie Johnson Little League and Southern District Little League, along with their coaches, will be on hand to meet with Grays players and coaches and run out on the field before the game. Meanwhile, the leaders of the Urban Baseball Foundation will be honored at a pre-game ceremony on the field.
