GAME PREVIEW (Grays vs Giants) 6-22-2016
By: DCGrays.com Press Tonight’s home game between the Grays(7-6) and the Gaithersburg Giants(6-7) comes a day after the league off day and on the heels of a current three-game winning streak for the Grays. The Grays have played some good baseball over the past five games winning four them. This has the Grays currently in second place in the Ripken South Division just 1 game back of the division leading Bethesda Big Train. On the mound as tonight’s starter for the Grays will be David Giusti (Lafayette). Giusti currently sits at a 2-0 record with a solid 3.00 ERA. His first two starts have both been quality outings. “He has been impressive for us so far, no doubt. We have a good feeling he will always give us a chance to win” said Grays Manager Reggie Terry. First pitch is scheduled for 7p at the home of the DC Grays, the Washington Nationals Youth Academy. The Grays also look forward to hosting both the Ward 7 baseball group and the unveiling of the players selected for the DC Grays RBI team. Come out and help us cheer on the Grays and this youngsters in our stands.
