Big Train blast past GraysJuly 13, 2012 – The DC Grays fell to 11-16 on the season Friday night, losing to the Bethesda Big Train 11-5 in Bethesda.
Grays all-star pitcher Danny O’Donnell (George Washington) took the loss, allowing nine earned runs in five and two-thirds innings pitched. On the offensive end the Grays were led by SS Zach Lopes (Delaware), who knocked in two runs with a seventh inning double. Two Grays homered–2B Mike Genovese (Seton Hall) in the first inning, and CF Billy Bissell (Gallaudet) in the second inning. Click here for stats and the boxscore. The Grays look to bounce back from their recent slump Saturday at 7:00pm against the Southern Maryland Nationals at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf.
