The loss dropped the Grays’ record to 10-14. The game started later and was shortened to seven innings because of the extreme heat.
Grays starter Rob Rizzitelli (Pace) got off to a rough start allowing three runs in the first two innings of the ballgame, before settling down and throwing well. The Grays managed just two hits–one a home run by DH Manny Cabreja (Columbia) which accounted for the Grays’ lone tally. Click here for stats and the boxscore.
