Big Train stifle Grays

June 10, 2012 – The Bethesda Big Train (1-3) hammered the DC Grays (2-3) by a 10-0 score today at Hoy Field. Big Train starter David Wayne Russo (San Jose State University) went six shutout innings, allowing just one hit with seven strike outs. Grays 2B Mike Genovese (Seton Hall) raised his batting average to .375, going one for two at the plate with one walk, and 1B Kris Moules (Morehead State) had the only other hit for the Grays. The Grays will look to rebound tomorrow when they host the Baltimore Redbirds at 5:00pm at Hoy Field.
