2012 Season Update – June 11

Grays fall to Redbirds

June 11, 2012 – The DC Grays lost their third straight Ripken League game, dropping a 6-2 decision to the Baltimore Redbirds at Hoy Field.

Highlighting the Grays’ effort was a mammoth home run by DH John Beaubein (Seton Hall) leading off the 7th inning. Grays 2B Mike Genovese (Seton Hall) continued his hot hitting with two more hits. The loss dropped the Grays’ record in their inaugural season to 2-4. Click here for stats and the boxscore.

After a day off tomorrow, the Grays return to the diamond on Wednesday night in Baltimore against Youse’s Orioles.
