Grays stifled by RiverdogsJune 15, 2012 – The DC Grays dropped their second straight game tonight, losing 4-1 to the Vienna River Dogs at Hoy Field. The loss dropped the Grays to 3-6 in their inaugural season.
As has often been the case this season, the Grays offense was anemic–the team managed only one run on four hits against Riverdogs pitchers Tyler Frazier (UNC-Greensboro) and Justin Albright (George Washington). Grays shortstop Zach Lopes (University of Delaware) had the Grays’ sole RBI of the game, driving in LF Tommy Barksdale (Gallaudet University) in the seventh. Click here for stats and the boxscore. The Grays will look to right the ship Saturday, June 16th against the Herndon Braves at 5pm at Hoy Field.
